Lab 10 Backup and Restore in Mikrotik RouterBoard

• The Purpose

- To know how to backup mikrotik routerboard in binary file and script file

- To know restorre all backup to MikroTik RouterBoard

Backup mikrotik in .backup Without password

file berekstensi .backup adalah backup dari mikrotik yang paling aman,karena file bakcup ini tidak bisa di edit melalaui editor

 1. click a files-backup-name-backup

then finish, drag or copy file backup to pc

try a reset configuration of your routerboard

then reseting, try to restore your backup to mikrotik routerboard by way of copy your last backup to files in mikrotik routerboard

click billy.backup and select a restore, because it does not use a password just click restore

log on to files and select backup contents name and password,then clik bakcup

then save your backup to pc

and try to reset your RouterBoard

log on to your mikrotik and copy/drag your backup to files and click restore

ill in the password that was created earlier and click restore

and finish backup .backup in mikrotik

Script File

log on to new terminal and type a

export file="name of file"

log on to files and copy your file backup

and paste in your pc

try change ip address in your backup save and exit

remove your backup in mikrotik

try reset all configuration in your mikrotik

if reset finished, copy your backup in pc

paste in your mikrotik

and import your backup

check the IP address has been modified or not

try pin to google.com, at this stage be sure your routerboard connect to internet

Configure In Client


Open a network and sharing center,and edit a your ipv4

then klik ok,try ping to your routerboard

then ping to google.com

Finish
