Lab 4 Disable, Enable, Uninstall and Install Packages

• THE PURPOSE

Know how to Disable/enable packages, Added package in MikroTik RouterBoard

• THE BASIC CONCEPTS

- Enable is the command to connect internal and external devices in the configuration settings

- Disable is the command to disconnect internal and external devices in the configuration settings
- Uninstall is a command to delete an application, packages and programs that have been installed on a computer

• CONFIGURATION

Enable

to enable the package open winbox then click system-> packages-> enable, then later will have the words "scheduled for enable" (example: ipv6)

Then reboot winbox by clicking system-> reboot

After rebooting, go to winbox again and check the package ipv6

Disable

To disable the package do almost the same as activating. the difference at the time in winbox select disable (example: ipv6)

Then reboot a winbox

If you are logged back winbox and check whether successful or not

Uninstall

Uninstall any way similar to the enable and disable, before uninstalling the package we have to "disable" the package first. click system-> package-> uninstall

Then reboot a winbox

Ipv6 packet is lost because tihs package has ben uninstalled
